Our Mission

 The Lulu & Laura House of Hope provides safe, stable, and supportive short-term housing for adults transitioning out of incarceration, recovery, or housing instability. This privately funded, unlicensed program is built on second chances, structure, and community connection. 

Who We Serve

 

  • Non-violent, justice-involved individuals reentering the community
     
  • Adults experiencing temporary homelessness or displacement
     
  • Individuals transitioning from recovery or treatment programs
     

What We Offer

Program Overview

 

While we are not a licensed facility, the House of Hope provides:

  • Shared, drug-free, structured living in a respectful environment
     
  • Basic house rules, curfew, and community accountability
     
  • Peer support and informal mentorship
     
  • Referrals to job search resources, transportation assistance, and community-based programs

  • Length of Stay: Typically 30–120 days (extensions based on need)
     
  • Capacity: Small group living (under 8 residents)
     
  • Support Model: Peer-led with house coordination
     
  • Program Fees: Modest contribution to support shared living costs

Important Disclaimer

The Lulu & Laura House of Hope operates as a non-licensed transitional housing program. We do not provide clinical supervision, medical treatment, or formal case management. All residents must be able to live independently and agree to abide by the house guidelines.

Some residents may need additional support beyond housing. In those cases, we can offer referrals to trusted community partners. Services such as personal assistance or transportation may be available based on eligibility and individual need. 


We offer job search assistance, resume building workshops, and vocational training programs to help individuals find and maintain employment.
